Holds up great in a busy living room

I bought the Allegra grey velvet chair for our main hallway sitting area, which gets constant traffic from two kids and a muddy dog. I was nervous about getting velvet at first, but liquids actually bead right up on the fabric instead of soaking in. My son already spilled apple juice on the cushion last week, and I was able to blot it completely clean with a paper towel without leaving a ring or watermark behind.

So glad I caved and bought it

I kept seeing an influencer rave about this chair in her apartment makeover videos, and after staring at my half-empty living room corner for weeks, I finally decided to try it. Right out of the box, it looks even better in my actual home than it did on my phone screen. The grey velvet has a lovely, soft texture that catches the natural daylight from my window, and the warm walnut legs match up so nicely with my hardwood floors and low coffee table.

Survives two cats and a dog

Bought this because my pets destroy woven fabrics, and it actually holds up.

Surprisingly good for a sale buy

Bought this on a whim during a holiday sale expecting junk, but it looks great in my living room.

Beautiful and comfortable addition to our new living room

My husband and I recently got married and moved into a much bigger house, which left us with a lot of empty space to fill, and this grey velvet chair was our first big furniture purchase. The velvet is super soft and the shade of grey looks beautiful against our rug, plus the walnut legs match our other mid-century modern pieces perfectly. It feels very solid and the cushion has a nice, firm support that feels like it will hold up well over time. The only real annoyance was that the shipping box arrived with a pretty big tear in the side and the legs were rolling around loose inside, but luckily nothing was damaged or missing. We are really happy with how it looks in our reading nook and would definitely buy it again.
