Finally replaced my landlord's hideous entryway bench

My place came "furnished," but honestly, most of the additions felt like cheap particle-board leftovers from a garage sale. The bench by the front door was especially bad—squeaky, peeling fake vinyl that made the whole entryway look depressing. I finally shoved it into the back of a closet and bought this Carina bench instead. The difference is night and day. Stunning addition to our new home

My husband and I got married a few months ago and moved into a much larger house, leaving us with several empty spots to fill. We needed something functional for the main hallway that didn't feel bulky or crowd the walkway. Great bench for a house full of pets

So far so good, this bench has been holding up really well in our entryway with two dogs constantly jumping on and off of it. I specifically wanted genuine leather so pet hair wouldn't stick like it does to fabric, and wiping down dirt or stray paws has been completely hassle-free. The tan color matches our space nicely and the cushion feels solid to sit on while putting shoes on. I'm only taking off one star because sharp dog claws do leave faint surface marks on the leather, though honestly it kind of adds to a natural worn-in patina over time.
