When you sit down, you immediately feel how solid and sturdy the wood frame is—there's none of that cheap, hollow flex or annoying sway. The fabric on the seat is thick and soft to the touch, and the cushion is dense enough that you don't end up bottoming out against the frame during long dinners. The curved backrest actually wraps around your back in a really supportive way, and running your hands along the smooth wood just feels like holding a piece of furniture that was built to last.

The black seats don't trap any cat hair and wipe down easily, even if the wood color is slightly darker than it appeared in the pictures.

Honestly, my spouse and I just got married and moved into a much larger home, so we had a lot of empty space to fill. I was a bit nervous about buying chairs online, but these gray fabric ones matched our walnut dining table perfectly and look incredibly stylish.
