We just finished repainting the entire house, and this bed was the first new piece we brought into our fresh bedroom. The dark green velvet is remarkably soft with a plush, deep pile that feels wonderful to run your fingers over, not rough or synthetic. Even the thick padding wrapped around the side rails and footboard feels substantial and cushioned, so there are no hard corners when walking past.

Downsizing into a one-bedroom apartment meant every inch of floor space had to count, and I was worried a dark upholstered frame would overwhelm the room. In person, the deep emerald tone does the exact opposite—it anchors the room without feeling bulky, and the button tufting gives it a warm, tailored look against plain white walls. Even with limited walking room around the sides, the lower profile keeps the space feeling open and cozy rather than cramped.

I threw out my squeaky Amazon frame for this, and the difference is night and day.

I bought this bed as a housewarming gift for my sister, and she is absolutely in love with how it looks in her room. The dark green velvet is super soft and has a really rich, cozy look, and the button-tufting on the headboard gives the whole space a nice vintage feel. It feels very solid and sturdy once it's up. The only real issue we had was during setup—the instructions were pretty vague in a few spots, and you definitely need a second pair of hands to hold the side rails in place while you get everything bolted together. But once we got past that hurdle, it came together beautifully, and she says the padded headboard is extremely comfortable to lean back against when she's reading at night.
