The coziest addition to our new living room

My spouse and I just got married and moved from a tiny apartment into our first real home, which left us with way more open space than furniture to fill it. Perfect addition to our new living room

My husband and I just moved into our first actual house after getting married, and since we suddenly had a much larger living room to fill, I ordered this swivel chair to go in the corner by the window. Honestly, it looks even better in person than it does online—the boucle fabric is super soft, not scratchy at all, and the beige color goes perfectly with everything else we've bought. The 360 swivel is really smooth too, which makes it my absolute favorite spot to sit with my morning coffee. The only real annoying thing was that the delivery box was incredibly bulky and difficult to drag through our front door by myself, but once we got the chair unpacked, it was basically ready to go. I'm really happy we bought it, and it's definitely worth every penny.

Scratchy and stiff as a board

I bought this chair as a housewarming gift for my sister, hoping it would be a cozy spot for her to curl up and read, but it has been a total letdown. The fabric is incredibly scratchy and feels more like cheap steel wool than soft boucle, rubbing your skin raw if you sit in it wearing shorts. Worse, the cushion has absolutely no give to it and feels like you are sitting on a solid block of concrete, while the backrest digs into your spine at a really awkward angle. Every time she tries to turn in it, the swivel mechanism feels stiff and makes a grating sound that just makes the whole thing feel poorly put together. It is so uncomfortable that she cannot stand sitting in it for more than five minutes, which made me feel terrible for giving it to her.
