DORY 38" WALNUT COFFEE TABLE

My decade-old coffee table finally broke, and this replacement is a complete letdown.

Been using this daily for three weeks and it holds up.

We picked this up right before the holidays to make sure our living room could handle a house full of visiting family, and it held up beautifully to the chaos of endless coffee mugs, snack trays, and late-night board games. The 38-inch size is ideal because it gives plenty of surface space for everyone gathered around without crowding the walkway, and the walnut finish has a warm, solid feel that looks much more expensive than it was. My only minor gripe was that the packaging had a ton of crumbly static styrofoam that got all over the rug during unboxing, but putting the legs on was straightforward and took under twenty minutes. It completely handled a busy week of holiday guests and still looks brand new.

The table looks like cheap laminate that completely clashes with the rest of my space, and the surface already looks ruined and scratched up just from my dog walking past it.

The first thing you notice when running your hand across the surface is the dense, warm weight of the solid wood. The edges have a soft, rounded curve that feels great to the touch and saves our dog from harsh knocks whenever zoomies strike. It sits heavy and firmly planted on the rug, so there is zero wobble even when a clumsy sixty-pound pup bumps right into the side.
