Huge upgrade for my rental kitchen

Swapping out my landlord’s cheap barstools for these warm tan leather ones instantly made my entire counter space look intentional and put-together.

Cheap for a reason

I bought this stool on a whim during a holiday sale not expecting much, but the fake leather split and a leg cracked during the very first week.

Decent for pets but scratches easily

Honestly, I bought these stools because the PU leather seemed like a smart move for my messy cats since it's so easy to wipe clean when hair or muddy paws get on them. The solid wood legs feel super sturdy, which is great because the stools don't tip over when the cats jump up on them, but unfortunately their claws have already left some noticeable puncture marks after only a couple of weeks. Plus, that high-density foam seat is a lot stiffer than I expected, making them not the most comfortable to sit on for very long.
