KEIRA BLACK PU BAR STOOL (SET OF 2)

I needed these stools in a pinch for a party this weekend, and they arrived super fast and were incredibly easy to put together.

Honestly, I was a bit nervous ordering these stools for my sister's new apartment without seeing them first, but they turned out to be a total home run. They have this really cool mid-century look, and the black PU leather looks and feels super high-end without being a pain to wipe down. Putting them together was surprisingly straightforward, and they feel incredibly sturdy and comfortable when you sit on them. She uses them daily at her kitchen island, and everyone who visits ends up asking where she got them. Definitely worth every penny.

After getting completely fed up with the wobbly, fifty-dollar stools we had before, I decided to spend a bit more on these thinking they would actually look decent around our kitchen island. Boy, was I wrong. The moment I set them up next to our warm oak cabinets, they looked incredibly cheap. Under our overhead pendant lights, that faux leather has this weird, shiny plastic glare that makes the whole bar area look like a tacky fast-food joint rather than a home. The black finish looks super artificial, and the stitching is so unevenly spaced that it draws your eyes right to it every time you walk into the room. Honestly, my old budget ones looked far more natural in the space, whereas these just stick out like a sore thumb.

We recently moved into a larger house and needed to furnish a new breakfast bar. These stools have been a wonderful addition. The cushioning is thick and has a nice, supportive bounce that doesn't just sink to the frame when you sit down. The material is very soft against your skin, and the curved back supports your spine in a really relaxing way, making them comfortable to sit in for long stretches.
