Waste of an upgrade

I only bought this 87-inch walnut table because I was fed up with a cheap knockoff, yet the finish scratches if you even look at it wrong and the pre-drilled leg holes were slightly off-center.

Massive downgrade

Honestly, my decade-old dining table finally broke and this replacement is absolute junk.

Looks great with the new paint

Bought this table after repainting the dining room and it is absolutely solid.

Finally, real wood!

Replacing our cheap veneer table with this solid walnut one was the best decision we've made, even if assembly was a bit of a workout due to how heavy the parts are.

Finally, a real table

Honestly, I was so tired of replacing cheap particleboard tables every couple of years because they'd wobble or peel. This solid wood table is in a completely different league. It's incredibly heavy, and you can actually see and feel the natural walnut wood grain across the top. The oversized legs give it this really sturdy, grounded look that completely anchors our dining area. It's nice to finally have a piece of furniture that feels like it's built to last rather than just look okay for a few months.

Sturdy and Heavy

This table is built like a tank.

Huge disappointment after repainting

We just finished painting the dining room a nice light sage and were so excited to get this table set up as the centerpiece. What a massive letdown for a thousand bucks. The "walnut" finish looks incredibly cheap and has a weird yellow-orange tint to it that completely ruins the look of the room and clashes with our walls. On top of that, the giant legs are wobbly as hell no matter how tight we screw them in, and there's already a scratch on the top veneer straight out of the box. Now we have to haul this heavy thing back to ship it, which is the absolute last thing I wanted to deal with.
