KATE GREEN VELVET SOLID WOOD DINING CHAIR (SET OF 2)

Honestly, I bought these green velvet chairs hoping for a sturdy, cozy spot in our baby’s room to read and nurse, but they’ve been a massive disappointment. As soon as I opened the box, there was an overpowering chemical odor that took days to air out, which is the last thing you want around a newborn. To make matters worse, the wood legs arrived scratched and uneven, making the chair wobble dangerously every time I sit down. The velvet fabric feels rough and thin rather than plush, and one of the leg bolts stripped during assembly. When you're pregnant and trying to set up a safe, durable nursery, dealing with unstable furniture and noxious fumes is infuriating—I’m returning these immediately.

The deep green velvet looks absolutely beautiful against our freshly painted light gray walls and makes the dining space feel so warm and inviting.

Honestly, I couldn't stand the cheap, wobbly metal chairs my landlord left in this place, so I bought this set of green velvet ones to replace them. They actually feel super sturdy with the solid wood legs, and the green velvet looks really rich and nice in person. They're comfortable to sit on for dinner, and they don't feel cheap at all. Putting them together was a little annoying because one of the screw holes was slightly off, but once they're built, they're great. Definitely worth the buy if you're trying to make a rental feel less like a dorm.
