Cheap quality at a premium price tag

Honestly... I thought spending fifteen hundred bucks on a couch would finally get me away from the cheap, wobbly flat-pack stuff I’ve been relying on, but this is a massive letdown. While the white boucle fabric looks okay from a distance, the cushions are unbelievably stiff and feel like sitting on a concrete slab. After only three weeks of normal use in my living room, the frame has already started creaking whenever anyone sits down, and the boucle is pilling like crazy. The craftsmanship is completely lacking—the wooden legs are uneven so the whole thing wobbles, and the stitching is already starting to pull apart at the seams. I really wanted this to be a step up in quality, but it honestly feels just as cheap as my old $300 futon, just at five times the price.
