NOUR CREAM FABRIC DINING CHAIR (SET OF 2)

I bought a set of these chairs as a housewarming gift for my sister, and I was so embarrassed when we actually sat down to use them. The fabric looks nice in photos, but in reality, it feels incredibly scratchy and rough against your skin, almost like cheap burlap. Worse than the fabric is the cushion itself; there is almost no give to it, and sitting on it feels like sitting directly on a slab of concrete. Within ten minutes of sitting at the dinner table, my sister was complaining about her lower back because the upright posture is stiff and offers absolutely zero lower back support. I wanted to give her something cozy for her new dining space, but these are so physically painful to sit in that she has already moved them to the corner of the room to be used only as decoration.

I bought this set of Nour dining chairs after returning a pair of cheap, wobbly plastic-legged ones from Amazon that felt like they were going to collapse under any adult. These are a night-and-day difference—the solid walnut base has a really nice weight to it, the cream fabric feels durable and thick, and the seats are actually comfortable enough to sit in through a long dinner. My only minor gripe is that getting the bolts to align during assembly took a bit of elbow grease and frustration, but once they were locked in, the wobbly chair nightmare was officially over.
