Surprisingly durable against claws and shedding

I was honestly terrified of buying a cream velvet couch with a golden retriever and a cat in the house, but velvet is secretly an incredible pet-friendly fabric because claws don't snag on the tight weave and fur wipes right off with a simple rubber brush. At 103 inches, it's massive enough for all of us to pile on without crowding each other, and the solid wood base gives it a really grounded, sturdy feel when our eighty-pound dog launches himself up. My only minor annoyance is that the low clearance underneath turns into a black hole for tennis balls and cat toys, so I find myself crouching down to fish things out a couple of times a week. Still, muddy paw prints have cleaned right off with just a damp microfiber cloth and mild soap, and after months of heavy daily use, there isn't a single pulled thread or crushed cushion in sight.

We’ve been using this Rosa sofa daily for three weeks now, and it has quickly become our favorite spot in the house.
