Perfect for our new place

We just moved into a much bigger house and had an awkward empty corner in the living room that desperately needed filling, and this Wania burnt orange swivel chair ended up being the best thing we bought. The velvet is super soft, the color is a rich, warm terracotta shade in person rather than a loud neon orange, and the swivel mechanism is really smooth when you're turning between the TV and the rest of the room. If I had to nitpick anything, the seat cushion was a little stiffer than I expected right out of the box and getting the heavy base through our front door was a bit of a pain, but it has already started breaking in nicely after a couple weeks of reading in it every night.

Obsessed with this orange chair

Looks Great, But Pretty Stiff to Sit In

I ordered this orange velvet chair in a rush because I had a weekend home-staging project that absolutely needed a bright piece, and while it arrived just in time, sitting in it for more than fifteen minutes gets pretty tiring. The velvet itself is soft when you rub your hand against it, but the seat cushioning is surprisingly firm and lacks any real give. The swivel function works fine, but the backrest is very rigid and forces you into a super upright posture that quickly made my lower back stiff. It functions fine as a quick accent piece, but don't expect a plush or cozy spot to sink into for a movie night.
